
The Elegant Darvaza by ALMA de LUCE®
A fusion of design and master craftsmanship come together in this ALMA de LUCE® DARVAZA – an elegant piece of fine furniture made of walnut wood.
Named after the Darvaza crater locally called “Gates of Hell”, located in the middle of Karakum desert, in Turkmenistan, is one of the largest reserves of natural gas in the world. The name given by the local population refers to the fire, boiling mud and the orange flames coming out of the crater. The crater has a diameter of 70 meters, fueled by rich deposits of natural gas, provides a scenario that makes remember the popular description of main access to the “Kingdom of Hades” (Greek mythology).
The exterior is made of Solid Walnut wood with a matte finish. The interior has a Special effect coat entitled “Golden Nickel”. The interior back has a bronze mirror. The drawers, shelves, footer & back are also presented in the special effect “Golden Nickel.
