As pioneers in wine tourism in Burgundy, the Brocard family – the biggest vineyard owners in Chablis – have just completely renovated their historic estate, entailing an investment of €3 million to meet the new desires of the visitors of tomorrow.

Independent and fully committed to ecological methods for the past 20 years, the Brocard family began this new investment phase in order to share its values with an ever-growing international public with multifarious needs and demands. With several thousand visitors each year, the family estate is thus continuing its development through this new phase of investment in its historic heart. The inauguration is planned for May 2017.

Julien Brocard says, “We had to completely rethink traditional wine tourism which focused mainly on a tour of the cellars and the vines, and wine tasting. Two types of visitors come to see the estate. First of all, those who love the Brocard family wines, from the Chablis by Jean-Marc Brocard to the biodynamic wines of Domaine des 7 Lieux. The new space we have reserved for them is warm and welcoming, focusing on knowledge, expertise and tasting. Then there are those who want to discover the world of wine in a wider sense, particularly companies who appreciate the culture of wine and the values of the Brocard family, and who want to bring their teams together in a friendly atmosphere based on discovery.”
