Art and purpose are beautifully bundled together in the iconic LAMPE BERGER.
Invented in 1898, the Lampe Berger’s catalytic diffusion system both fragrances the air in your house while diffusing subtle fragrances and the catalytic burner cleanses the air of impurities. It all began when Maurice Berger, a pharmacy dispenser, invented and patented the first lamp used to purify the air in hospital wards, then later went on to improve the air quality in the home and workplace. A turning point came in 1930, a period of opulence where the taste for beautiful things was at its height, this was when fragrances were incorporated adding a whole new dimension to the experience and rendered Lampe Berger a collectors item.
The Evolution of Lampe Berger
To further develop their famous product, in 1997, Lampe Berger created a Research and Development department dedicated to creating new ranges and improve overall product performance; since then Lampe Berger continues to evolve and innovate.
