Briggs & Riley, the independently-owned, global luggage brand is delighted to reveal a new limited-edition Silver colour, part of the best-selling Sympatico collection. This stylish shade will be a tribute to the brand’s silver anniversary, a milestone year for the company. The luggage will be available in Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis and additional stores across the UK from September 2018.

Each suitcase within the Sympatico Collection benefits from Briggs & Riley’s CXTM Compression-Expansion Technology, providing 25% more packing space. Using the zipperless CX™ technology, the hard-sided suitcases can be expanded, and can then be compressed back to original size once packed. This means that, in addition to creating more packing space, there is no excess space for clothes to shift in transit and crease.  It also means you can still take your carry-on-sized luggage aboard aircraft.

The collection comprises of four sizes of suitcase, International and Domestic Carry-On, Medium and Large.

In addition to the compression-expansion system, the 100% virgin Makrolon® polycarbonate Sympatico suitcases feature an Outsider® handle to provide a greater interior capacity and a flat interior surface for packing. Other innovative features include a built-in garment holder to neatly hold up to two suits or dresses and prevent wrinkling, TSA locks and double spinner wheels for the smoothest ride.

As well as the new silver colour, the Sympatico Collection is available in Fire, Bronze, glossy black ‘Onyx’ and Matte Black.

Briggs & Riley is proud to hold the luggage industry’s only lifetime luggage guarantee to repair any functional aspects of a bag. The company puts its luggage through the most stringent testing to ensure ultimate life-long performance and promises customers that if a bag is broken or damaged, even if the damage was caused by an airline, Briggs & Riley will repair it free of charge – Simple as That®.

‘Our 25th year has been a milestone for Briggs & Riley in more ways than one, with the unveiling of several new collections including our very first European-exclusive launch partnership with Harrods, for the Bronze Sympatico collection’, commented Briggs & Riley CEO Richard Krulik, ‘We are thrilled to launch this limited-edition Silver colourway in celebration of our quarter-century, marking our ongoing commitment to our founding brand pillars of innovation, performance and style.’
